Hello, can you give advice on how to lay tiles on this product, can they be laid directly on the steel drain? Thanks

As I said on the phone the main concern is the edges, you have to make sure they are not sharp and even. You can place the tiles directly on a steel cover, it would be best if you could use the correct glue (e.g. PCI Collastic or Gorilla Epoxy). You should also have gotten a small rectangular piece of membrane that matches the shape of the cover. You need to attach the cloth to the cover first and then tiles on the cloth. This can be done with tile adhesive.
With this post you will find mounting instructions for the invisible drain, it will be displayed there. But it is nothing complicated.
I forwarded your question to the manufacturer and if they have anything more interesting to say I'll give you an update.
